Jack was changed into a shifter against his will by his ex-boyfriend Pedro. He has been on the run most of his life. Now, he’s hiding from his ex praying the abusive jerk doesn’t find him. Jack has finally settled into a routine; an insignificant job that pays the bills but, more importantly, he’s met the stunning Raul. Raul flips his switch. He comes in to Jack’s work every day to each lunch with him. Jack really wants to make a move but how would Raul respond to the fact that Jack is a werewolf? Jack knows Pedro is going to catch up with him one day can he put another at risk? Jack has been submissive his entire life. What will it take for him to take charge and become the dominant Alpha he is meant to be?
Friday Night is an exciting romantic book. Jack and Raul are so darling together. I was rooting for them from the start. I enjoyed the journey that Jack goes on, from the beginning to the end; he really discovers who he truly is. There was a nice bit of shifter action in there as well but Jack stole the show. He is a unique and endearing character. Raul’s sister was a hoot as well. Friday Night is date night and this book is definitely a good one to snuggle up with on any night.
